Lethbridge Transit - Ranger Success


Implementing the Ranger made sense. We wanted to provide real-time information for our customers and the Ranger is the tool that does that. So without the ranger our customers wouldn’t be able to see where the bus is at any point in time, and there would be no live data in MyRide. So we really wanted to have that peace and the ranger is what provides it.

It also gives our driver an idea of their schedule. So if they’re running late or if they’re running hot, they can see that right on the Ranger device and they can improve their own on-time performance throughout the day. Having one ranger device for both our paratransit and our fixed route system allows us to carry less fares. So we can quickly program each device with the software required depending on where it needs to go whether it’s on the paratransit side or the fixed route side.
